MERCY ??

 

The Pope has declared the Year of Mercy,

To forgive and forget the past;

Our neighbour, through God’s eyes to see,

 

What is mercy, when it isn’t given,

Unforgiveness is a choice, but remember;

Our sins, mercifully He has forgiven.

 

Mercy? Ask the woman caught in adultery,

Jesus said, “Those who are sinless may cast a stone.”

None to stone, He forgave and set her free.

Be merciful as your heavenly Father is merciful,

Spend an extra dollar on the poor, because

In heaven you will be paid in full.
