He had
taken a loan from the master,
Not
being able to repay, would bring a disaster,
The
sentence for him was to go to jail,
Until
he’d pay the last penny he wouldn’t get bail.
Down on
his knees he begged for mercy,
Being a
compassionate master he left him free,
Out he
went, met a man who owed him money,
The way
he dealt with him was really funny.
It was
expected of him to forgive,
To be
compassionate and his master’s mercy to relive,
The
master’s servants narrated to him the scene,
To know
the reason the master was keen.
The
master wasn’t happy and called for the slave,
Said to
him, “You’ve dug your own grave,
In your
humanness you have failed,
For this
you must be jailed.
