EYES

Image result for EYES

What would my life be without eyes?
I would have to go to a blind school,
And wouldn’t be able to sit on my grandpas thighs,
Oh! A 1000 thanks to You Lord for gifting me beautiful eyes!

If I would be present during Jesus’ time,
I would have been healed by that human person,
 Who was both human and divine,
Oh! A 1000 thanks to You Lord for gifting me beautiful eyes!

Because of You Lord I have the gift of sight,
Thanks to thee I give,
For the morning sunlight that is so bright,

Oh! A 1000 thanks to You Lord for gifting me beautiful eyes!

MARY: BORN SINLESS

Born without original sin,
Faithful you were through thick and thin,
The Father’s will you chose to obey,
And thus you showed us the way.

Help us to think Jesus, feel Jesus, live Jesus.
Mother, obtain this grace for us;
Help us do it the Salesian way,
As we reach out to youngsters day after day.

You gave birth to Jesus in a stable;
To do God’s will, make us ready and able.
You stood at the feet of your Son crucified;
May we, too, in His love abide.

FAILED MERCY

He had taken a loan from the master,
Not being able to repay, would bring a disaster,
The sentence for him was to go to jail,
Until he’d pay the last penny he wouldn’t get bail.

Down on his knees he begged for mercy,
Being a compassionate master he left him free,
Out he went, met a man who owed him money,
The way he dealt with him was really funny.

It was expected of him to forgive,
To be compassionate and his master’s mercy to relive,
The master’s servants narrated to him the scene,
To know the reason the master was keen.

The master wasn’t happy and called for the slave,
Said to him, “You’ve dug your own grave,
In your humanness you have failed,

For this you must be jailed.
