The wonder of my being

 

When I look at the wonder of my being,

I am taken up.

You knit me in my mother’s womb,

And called me by name.

When I look at the wonder of my being,

I thank You and with people I say,

‘Our God is an awesome God,

Forever He reigns on high.

When I look at the wonder of my being,

I am speechless,

I can’t imagine a human body,

With millions of cells functioning perfectly well.

When I look at the wonder of my being,

I can only thank and keep thanking You Lord,

I keep praising You because I’m awestruck,

At the wonder of my being.

Pain

Pain and suffering are a part of life,

It comes to us in different ways and forms.

The sooner we accept it, the better it is for us.

With acceptance we need to life up the pain and suffering to God,

God in His own way and time will heal us,

He never leaves us when we are in trouble.

A positive attitude towards pain and suffering,

Will help us to get well soon,

While a pessimistic outlook,

Will only make the pain and suffering worse.

We must accept our condition,

And try to better it rather than,

Reject it and make ourselves bitter.

God's love

What is God’s love?

How does it feel like when He loves You?

We can know it only little by little,

The experience of being loved by God is beyond human understanding,

It finally turns out to be like Jesus said,

Those have received much love, give much love.

The question arises as to who receives much love,

The one who receives much love is the one who spends time with God.

Like a battery operated instrument which needs regular charging,

So, we too need to be with God to get ourselves regularly charged.

Your life

 

What happens on the inside,

Has more value than,

What appears on the outside.

There can be people in the society who,

Are waiting to pound on you,

But you knowing who you are at the core of your being,

Are unaffected by what takes place.

You must be who you are,

Act according to your nature,

A lion’s nature is to kill and eat,

While that’s not true for the lamb.

Let not external situations be the driving force of your life,

Take charge, give your life direction.

Empty slate

My life is like an empty slate,

What do I write on it?

I don’t have to bother much,

God and people write and add color to it.

In ups and downs, in highs and lows,

In joys and sorrows, in happiness and pain,

I feel my life is like an empty slate,

I don’t know what to write on it,

God says, “I’ll take care, don’t despair.

God will surely write something on it,

He has so many people to be His channels,

He works in ways I don’t understand,

I feel my life is like an empty slate,

I don’t know what to write on it,

God says, “I’ll take care, don’t despair.
