Anxious

                     

I suppose this happens to me every time,

This usually takes place before exams,

I feel anxious and nervous,

I surrender everything in His hands,

He takes care and gives me a new purpose.

Just a few days for the exams to approach,

And one by one I feel I shouldn’t have done this or that,

I could have studied then,

I feel anxious and nervous,

Surrendering all to Him I feel I have a new purpose.

He has His own time to make things beautiful,

He waits for me to come to Him,

I falter and fail, trip and fall,

I feel anxious and nervous,

Surrendering all to Him I feel I have a new purpose.

Sometimes I feel God is doing all of this,

However it is not Him but me, who does things,

I feel this is part of His great master plan,

I feel anxious and nervous

Surrendering all to Him I feel I have a new purpose.

Look up

When there is meaninglessness in life,

When there is acute suffering and pain,

When there is no gain,

Look up.

When all is lost,

When there’s absolutely no hope,

When all is despair,

Look up.

Look up to God,

For He will give meaning to your life,

Look up to God,

For in Him there is gain.

Look up to God,

For He will give you victory,

Look up to God,

For He is the greatest mystery. 

Religion

Religion and spirituality makes sense,

When the basic needs of man are fulfilled,

To the hungry and the poor,

Religion will make less sense.

Take life as it comes

Take life as it comes,

One day one event at a time.

It’s easy that way,

Than the whole week at a stretch.

At the end of the day,

The one thing that we must know,

Is that, we are humans,

Who are subject to wear and tear.

 We already carry so many burdens,

And yet we get another one now,

And another sometime later.

Take life as it comes.

One breath, one step, one day at a time,

Take life as it comes,

Trust in the Lord,

And take life as it comes.

Sometimes life sends too many joys,

Be happy and take life as it comes.

At other times there is a big parcel of sorrows,

Be optimistic and take life as it comes.
